A Carta de hoje é o Arcano Maior - A Sacerdotisa do Tarot de Madame Lenormand, da Editora Lo Scarabeo e arte de Ernest Fitzpatrick. 

Descrevendo a carta temos a própria Mlle Lenormand como a Sacerdotisa. Ela está na prisão, sentada e escrevendo. tem água, um livro e um vidro com uma vela. Conta a lenda que ela foi presa várias vezes, porque sabia demais e causava no Palácio de Luxemburgo. Ela era a "cartomante" da Imperatriz Josephine de Beauhaurnais, esposa de Napoleão Bonaparte. 

A Sacerdotisa é uma jovem mulher, que geralmente aparece num ambiente mais reservado, como um santuário. Ela fica entre as colunas da luz e da sombra. Ela não demonstra os seus sentimentos, observadora e enigmática. 

Se há um mistério para ser revelado, ela irá investigar nos mínimos detalhes, pelo princípio feminino do pensar. Existe um aprendizado rigoroso neste Arcano, pois nos faz analisar as nossas emoções e entrar em contato com sentimentos que nem sempre estamos dispostos à encará-los. 

Podemos destacar algumas características e entre suas qualidades estão: a interiorização, modéstia, o saber sereno, telepatia e empatia. E os seus defeitos mostram o seu lado temperamental, invejoso, falsidade e caçadora de emoções passageiras.  Existem muitas outras, mas já dá para compreendermos a complexidade deste Arcano.
